What is System Integration?

There are many different definitions of ‘System’, there are many different definitions of ‘Integration’, consequently their will be many different definitions of ‘System Integration’.

 

My definition of System Integration (S.I.) is not an ‘academic’ definition, it is more of a practical definition using common terminology.

 

‘System Integration is ensuring all the component parts work as a whole, it about ensuring that the customer gets what they want when they want.’
